She lives with her family including Buddy the Border Collie in Ventura, California. She enjoys gardening, musical instruments, reading, training Buddy, and volunteering for charity activities to promote social well-being. Lani hopes that you enjoy Buddies stories. The Adventures of Buddy the Collie is a rhyming story adventures was inspired during school closure when everything shut down. At first it was fun being at home but then because of isolation, he needed to learn how to get along in the world.
This delightful collection of of rhyming stories about a beautiful and wonderful puppy is bound to be a favorite for young readers and the adults fortunate enough to read with them.

Buddy lives in Ventura, California with his Mama Lani and Daddy Ben.
Buddy lives in Ventura, California with his Mama Lani and Daddy Ben. As a mom and teacher of students with special needs, I have always been drawn to kids, animals and children’s books. This collection of poems was inspired during school closure. While teaching from home, I talked Ben into getting a border collie puppy. Oh my did we have our hands full! Because of isolation, Buddy was not properly socialized, and we desperately needed intervention. Then we met our trainer, our angel, Stacey Ayub. She helped turn Buddy into a trained and wonderful dog. We have been so blessed with Stacey, Sheriff Bill, and their beautiful family. We are forever grateful for their friendship, knowledge, kindness, and eternal patience. Blessings to all who may enjoy Buddy’s stories.
